ECONOMIC IMPORTS & EXPORTS

One of the U.C .G.’s largest sources of money is in telecommunications.  Some of the mineral rich islands have Quartz and Silicon, which can be used in wires and cables.  Our islands are the “missing link” between the U.S.A. and Asia, a pit stop for communicating between the two superpowers, cutting seconds off of communications.  Some other industries include, fish farms, agricultural crops, oil, fiber optics, hydrogen, medicines from tropical plants, a mineral industry, and a large shipping industry.

    As for imports, the U.C.G. needs basic foods including meat, wheat, and corn.  We also need to import gold for some of our telecommunications.  Along with that we do need to import some wood even though we do have some of our own.
